Octolens is a keyword monitor with an AI filter in front of it. You give it keywords, it collects every mention across 15 or more platforms, scores each one for relevance and sentiment, and routes the good ones to Slack, email, or a webhook. It is a strong fit for developer tools and brands that need to know every time their name comes up, and it exposes everything through an API and an MCP server.
PitchGhost is built around a goal rather than a keyword. A Ghost reads one platform, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, or Facebook, using that platform’s own search. Search queries decide what it reads; the goal decides what becomes a Find. Every Find shows Ghost’s logic, a confidence figure and a suggested action in your voice. On LinkedIn a Ghost can follow a list of people or company pages instead, which is how teams watch customers, prospects, and partners rather than terms.
The other difference is the meter. Octolens plans cap keywords and monthly mentions and sell more of each. PitchGhost plans don’t cap Ghosts or Finds; the tiers differ in what you can do with a Find, from email notifications on Find to Slack, CRM sync and instant actions on Engage.
